About Me

Hey there! I'm MercuryFalls, an indie game developer with a passion for creating retro-inspired games. My journey in game development has been fueled by the incredible game jam community and the creative challenges they provide.

I specialize in rapid game development, often creating complete games in a week or less during game jams. This fast-paced approach has taught me to focus on core gameplay mechanics and creative problem-solving under tight deadlines.

Recently, I've been transitioning to Godot Engine, an open-source game engine that perfectly aligns with my indie development philosophy. I work with talented artists and use quality asset packs to create the visual style for my games, allowing me to focus on what I do best, game design and development.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me sharing my development journey on YouTube, participating in game jams and connecting with fellow developers in the indie game community.

Game Jam Philosophy

Game jams are where creativity meets constraint. I believe the best ideas come from working within limitations, whether that's time, theme or technical restrictions. Each jam is an opportunity to experiment, learn and push creative boundaries.

My goal is to create games that are fun, memorable and showcase unique mechanics. I'm always looking for the next jam to participate in, suggestions welcome!
